Job Overview

The Inside Sales Representative drives lead generation, customer engagement, and service-based revenue opportunities across assigned territories in two Power Centers. This role involves prospecting, qualifying leads, managing sales pipelines, and reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. It is performed remotely with occasional on-site collaboration and is ideal for B2B sales professionals in industrial or service-driven environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls and virtual outreach to identify, qualify, and nurture leads across assigned territories
  • Manage and track all sales activity within CRM tools, ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer records
  • Execute structured call scripts while adapting messaging to customer size, needs, and industry segment
  • Collaborate closely with Service Sales Managers to coordinate outreach efforts and align with service capacity
  • Schedule and prepare qualified appointments for Service Sales Managers, including call notes and lead insights
  • Track and report daily activity metrics (calls, connects, leads, conversions) to the Regional Sales Manager
  • Share customer feedback and market insights to improve sales messaging and identify new service opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of B2B inside sales or tele-prospecting experience, ideally within an industrial or service-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated experience in customer engagement, pipeline development, and conversion tracking
  • Proven ability to meet outbound activity and lead generation goals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and engaging phone presence
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Resilient self-starter comfortable with performance targets and KPIs
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) preferred
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with distributed teams

Other Details

  • Individual contributor role with anticipated domestic travel less than 10%
  • Previous experience supporting fleet services, equipment, or maintenance-related industries preferred
  • Familiarity with multi-location or regional sales environments preferred
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using dashboards or reporting tools to track performance preferred
