The position starts at $16.25-$17.25 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and location.
Responsibilities
- Sell and maintain 100% distribution of authorized Hershey items in the assigned territory.
- Achieve merchandising objectives using permanent secondary displays and other vehicles as per the retail execution plan.
- Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and administrative functions.
- Submit daily activities using tablet technology.
- Manage sales territory, varying by size, number of retailers, and location.
Qualifications
- Valid US state-issued driver’s license and personal vehicle in sound operating condition.
- Personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person/$100,000 per accident/$100,000 property damage, permitting business use.
- Reside or willing to commute within specified territory zip codes.
- Able to drive long distances for multiple daily sales calls.
- Able to lift 10-40 lbs., bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity regularly, with or without accommodations.
- Proficient in using tablet technology and have daily access to wireless internet.
- Flexible and adaptable to changes in territory coverage.
- Available to work 20-25 hours per week.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3-4 years of food merchandising experience preferred but not required.
