This role drives sales growth for insulated concrete forms within an assigned geographic territory in the construction industry. It focuses on building relationships with dealers, distributors, and contractors to ensure product specification, distribution, and installation, while supporting new construction and retrofit opportunities through strategic sales planning and technical education.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute regional sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
- Build, manage, and grow relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, and key influencers in the construction market.
- Expand market penetration by increasing product availability, dealer engagement, and contractor adoption.
- Identify and pursue opportunities in new builds and retrofit applications.
- Meet or exceed sales targets through territory planning and relationship-driven selling.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while strengthening existing accounts.
- Maintain awareness of competitive products, pricing, and market trends.
- Develop and maintain regional sales forecasts and contribute to annual business planning.
- Promote, demonstrate, and educate customers on products using samples, technical materials, and jobsite visits.
- Conduct product training sessions, lunch-and-learns, jobsite walkthroughs, and contractor education programs.
- Support project specification efforts by working with contractors and dealers early in the cycle.
- Assist in resolving customer issues, product questions, or claims timely and professionally.
- Partner with marketing and business unit leadership to support sales tools and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with supply chain and customer service teams for delivery alignment.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and expenses.
- Prepare reports on sales activity, forecasts, and regional performance.
- Participate in meetings, conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
- Maintain regular, proactive communication with key customer contacts at least quarterly.
Qualifications
- Experience in sales within the construction industry.
- Strong relationship-building skills with dealers, distributors, and contractors.
- Knowledge of insulated concrete forms or similar building products.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Technical aptitude for product education and jobsite support.
- Proficiency in sales forecasting, reporting, and market analysis.
