Drive growth and expand market presence by promoting and selling products to meet customer needs through partners. Build and maintain strategic relationships with accounts including systems integrators, dealers, distributors, and end users. Manage territory to maximize sales and profits, develop strategic sales plans, achieve revenue targets, analyze sales trends, and represent the company at industry events.
Responsibilities
- Actively manage and grow the territory to maximize sales and profits.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Analyze monthly POS reports to identify sales trends and opportunities.
- Prepare reports, forecasts, and other materials as required.
- Represent the company at industry events, tradeshows, and customer meetings.
- Service existing accounts and establish new accounts through planning and organizing daily work schedules.
- Meet sales objectives of the region and manage annual expense budget effectively.
- Monitor competition and gather marketplace information on pricing, products, and programs.
- Educate dealer and distributor personnel on products and sales techniques.
- Prepare and execute annual region sales plans.
- Recommend changes to products, services, and policies based on field feedback.
- Resolve customer issues by investigating problems and developing solutions.
- Assist in marketing research and support other sales personnel in the field.
- Manage extensive travel (50%) efficiently.
- Provide strategic counsel to sales leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
- At least 5 years in outside sales or related position.
- Effective writing skills.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Effective sales presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with high energy and strong work ethic.
