Job Overview

Seeking an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in the oil and gas industry to drive sales in the Permian Basin Southwestern Texas Region. The role involves developing strategic sales plans, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets while working remotely with significant travel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic outside sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Recommend production positioning, pricing strategy, and new product development ideas based on market analysis and customer feedback.
  • Work remotely while meeting clients at job sites at least 50% of the time, including overnight travel up to 50%, to prepare proposals, maintain relationships, and close deals.
  • Respond to inbound sales inquiries, handle customer service issues, and generate outbound calls to prospects.
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, and orders; meet or exceed sales goals for new and existing business.
  • Plan and oversee promotional activities such as trade shows and conferences.
  • Manage sales and marketing budgets, monitor industry trends and competitors, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain long-term customer relationships and product awareness.

Qualifications

  • Experience in outside sales within the oil and gas industry, with a hunter’s mentality.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, including overnight stays.
  • Strong skills in sales planning, market analysis, customer service, and relationship building.
  • Proficiency in preparing sales proposals, negotiating deals, and managing budgets.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape.
