This is a high-activity, phone-led role focused on generating qualified appointments for the Field Sales team. You’ll spend your day speaking to merchants, introducing products and services, and asking engaging questions about their current payment provider to create quality, sales-ready appointments.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound cold calls to merchants using company-provided data
- Introduce Modern World Business Solutions clearly and confidently
- Ask engaging discovery questions around current payment suppliers, pricing, and pain points
- Identify decision-makers within target businesses
- Generate and book qualified appointments for the Field Sales team
- Maintain a strong daily call and activity volume
- Accurately update and manage activity within the CRM
- Work closely with Field Sales to maximise appointment quality and conversion
- Continuously build knowledge of the payments sector and merchant needs
Qualifications
- Proven appointment-setting or telesales experience
- Confidence making cold calls and handling objections
