Job Overview

In this key role, you will handle the initial steps of the sales process, helping to promote the product portfolio in the tech world. As the first point of contact for interested companies, you will play a crucial role in qualifying leads and preparing sales conversations.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential customers who can benefit from the SaaS solution.
  • Conduct cold outreach and initial contact with potential customers from corporations and upper mid-market to spark interest in the SaaS platform.
  • Conduct initial conversations with leads, analyze their needs, and ensure they meet criteria for qualified sales opportunities.
  • Maintain leads through regular, personalized communication and follow-up as needed.
  • Analyze the market, track competitor activities, and provide feedback on common questions or challenges to adapt and optimize sales to changing market and customer needs.
  • Work goal-oriented to achieve defined KPIs, such as the number of qualified leads, contacts, and scheduled appointments.
  • Collaborate regularly with the marketing team to ensure effective outreach measures and optimal care for generated leads.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and events, represent the brand, and contribute to building the network.

Qualifications

  • Passion for sales and enthusiasm for the sales process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
  • Good sense for recognizing potential customers and their needs, with experience in lead qualification.
  • Basic understanding of SaaS solutions.
  • Experience in cold acquisition of complex B2B SaaS solutions, focused on enterprise customers.
  • Extraordinary self-initiative and results-orientation.
  • Team player with a collaborative attitude, close collaboration with account executives and marketing team, and constant drive for improvement and development.
  • Flexibility and creativity to try new approaches, continuously improve the sales process, and creatively handle challenges and find solutions.
  • Strong time management for efficient task prioritization and managing multiple leads and projects simultaneously.
