Responsibilities
- Manage an existing portfolio of customer relationships
- Prospect for new customer relationships and develop broker connections
- Negotiate and close profitable deals with customers
- Deliver annual gross margin targets of $1-3 million
- Own customer relationships and coordinate deal implementation with internal teams
- Manage and prioritize an opportunity pipeline
- Understand regulatory environment, deal structures, and market trends
- Leverage relationships for value and decline non-value accretive opportunities
Qualifications
- Legal authorization to work in the US full-time
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in US deregulated electricity markets (e.g., ERCOT, PJM)
- Knowledge of electricity and renewable energy markets, products, and regulations
- Experience selling energy services like wind, solar, demand response
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
- Commercial mindset, problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of energy contracts and industry network
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
