Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Develop and utilize a business plan aligned with marketing strategies through territory analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and customer insights, updated quarterly.
  • Implement business plans by leveraging resources with hematologists, oncologists, and other key customers.
  • Become an expert in products, disease states, and the marketplace, and communicate product information to promote the oncology portfolio.
  • Work closely with field partners to ensure strategy implementation across key accounts and medical teams.
  • Complete call reporting, business plan updates, expense reports, and operate within pharma compliance guidelines.
  • Manage effective account targeting and time.
  • Attend training sessions, conventions, and symposia as required.
  • Complete fleet safety training and maintain an acceptable driving record.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited school required, preferably in business or life science.
  • Minimum two years of specialty sales experience, preferably in oncology/hematology.
  • Up to two years of successful experience in selling chemotherapeutic agents or bio-tech products preferred.
  • Working knowledge of hospital and cancer center environments preferred.
  • Ability to think, plan, and act strategically.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to safely drive a company car to meetings and appointments.
